Dolores Hidalgo is one of the main producers of the traditional majolica tiles in the typical colonial decorated style of Mexico. Typical Mexican Dinnerware Talavera (Talevera is a type of majolica earthenware) with a Spanish influence are of high quality and is used to make traditional pottery vases, pots and jars, and several pieces of ceramics made and decorated by hand. 

In August, there was the Mosaic Craft Exhibition, where you could admire and acquire a variety of original pieces. It should be noted that these ceramics cannot be designated with the word talavera that in 1997 Puebla made arrangements with the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property to obtain the designation of origin.
