Monument to the Mexican Flag
The Monument to the Flag was opened in 1951 by Mr. Michael German Valdes, President of Mexico and it is the work of the sculptor Federico Canessi. The implementation of the work was carried out by the architect Jorge L. Medellín, and is carved in pink stone.
The status is that of a female statue that stands majestic symbolizing the motherland and below, the figures of a peasant and a soldier.
