The Monumento a los Heroes Veracruzanos is an obelisk erected to the memory of the citizens who fought fiercely in Veracruz in 1914 against the American troops that occupied Veracruz for eight months.
A gazebo is located in the historic center of Veracruz, at the intersection of the September 16 and June 25 streets, halfway between the Baluarte de Santiago (Bastion) and the Boardwalk.
