In front of the Church of San Francisco extends another esplanade, a plaza of the same name, and in its center you can see a single fountain next to a bust of Doña Margarita Maza de Juarez and across the way, is the Salazar entrance with arches of different shades of color.

A traditional tianguis or craft market goes on here all weekend.
