This small church was originally dedicated to the Señor del Rincon and in 1893 was restored and since then people venerates the Virgen de Lourdes. This chapel is part of an architectural ensemble in Morelia: The Villalongin Garden, Calzada Madero, Calzada Fray Antonio de San Miguel, the Aqueduct and the fountain of the Tarascas, which is directly opposite.
