Plaza and Villalongin Fountain
There is a beautiful garden which has on its centre a magnificent fountain located on Avenida Madero East and in front of the fountain the Tarascas.
During the colony this place was known as Plazuela de las Anima because was close to a chapel that once it was closed to worship, it was used as a women's prison. After it changed the name to honor the insurgent don Manuel Villalongin which rescued his wife who was a prisoner there.
