At the heart of the city of Saltillo, Alameda Zaragoza is the largest and most important garden of the Central Zone. Its extensive green areas are perfect for strolling and admiring the sculptures placed in memory of heroic figures.
There is the equestrian statue of Ignacio Zaragoza, the Column of Independence, the Bust of Venustiano Carranza, as well as the statue of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla.
The Alameda Zaragoza is home to a lake, playgrounds, and the state Public Library which is a beautiful pink stone building whose neoclassical architecture was inspired by the Parthenon.
It is worth mentioning that the park system is equipped with free WIFI.
