The bronze John Huston sculpture located in the central part of the Isla Rio Cuale, was made in 1988 by Carlos Ramirez in tribute to the famous American film director John Houston and to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the film "The Night the Iguana, "starring Richard Burton, Deborah Kerr and Ava Gardner.
