Information
Located in the first block of the city, this historic site consists of Jardin Juarez in which we can see a kiosk brought from England in 1890 and the Plaza de Armas current seat of the Government Palace, at the end of this plaza is a statue of Jose Maria Morelos y Pavon and further the Palacio de Cortes. It is the preferred place for visitors to complete a long day of walking in the vicinity. They sell delicious nieves, raspados, sodas, snacks, candies, esquites, chicharrones and so on. The main avenues converge on this point. It is surrounded by numerous restaurants of international and Mexican food, hotels, nightclubs and bars.
