It is located to the south of the famous Plaza de Armas, a beautiful French-style building with central columns of Ionic capital and plain mosaic floor in crimson red. It has two entrances, the main by Plaza de Armas and the other by the Jardin de los Palacios and is the seat of the municipal authorities as well as the office of Mayor.
