Its ecological environment of 44 hectares allows multiple outdoor activities such as enjoying its artificial lake, and viewing the temporary exhibition of animals in the region like bears, lions, jaguars, ostriches, goats and many more. The island of San Marcos has an outdoor exhibition hall, headquarters of the livestock exhibition of the National Fair of San Marcos, considered, to date, as the largest and most modern in the world.  Worthy of being admired is the mechanical clock, the largest in Latin America with 27 meters in diameter. Among other attractions, it has a quarter mile horse racing track and for people who like excitement, there is a roller coaster (so-called Tsunami), the largest in Latin America with 4 curl speeds, 120 meters long and 36 meters high (attraction available only during the fair of San Marcos).
