The purpose of this place is to disseminate knowledge and the analysis of this zone through areas devoted to the northeast. Here are highlighted the social, cultural, political and economic factors that are part of local history, since pre-Hispanic times to the contemporary era and the  consequences in the historical future of the country, taking as subjects for study the states of Nuevo Leon, Coahuila, Tamaulipas and Texas. The permanent exhibition was designed as a time tunnel that starts in our time and teach the subjects in retrospect sequence. It is divided in an introductory room and six mezzanines: The Northeast today, forming the border, Republican Forge, Colonial Organization, formative Viceroyalty and former Norteast. It provides educational services, guided tours, friends of history, children’s workshops, summer courses and volunteering. Open Tuesday to Sunday. Free admission Tuesday and Sunday. The admission has a recovery cost. In this museum is not allowed to take photographs or video.
