This 1880 building originally was a drugstore called "La Italiana" (The Italian), owned by Luis Canobbio. It is said that this man created a substance called "The Fountain of Eternal Youth", the lotion "The goddess Venus" that gave eternal beauty to those who drank it.
In 1897 housed both the offices of Bank of London and the Bank of Mexico.
At present you can admire this building completely renovated where there is a restaurant, galleries and a space where are displayed original pieces of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
