Mazatlan is recognized by a specific point, its three islands: Isla de Pajaros, Isla de Venados e Isla de Lobos (The Isle of Birds, The Isle of Deer and The Isle of Wolves. )
You can get there by boat or what the locals call "amphibious", a typical  transport of the place.
In the central island (of Deer) have been discovered cave paintings which raises the historical value of the area.
In these islands you may find a natural paradise to practice water sports, relax in its calm waters and eat in the palapas.
