It is located just 20 kms from the city of La Paz and can be reached by bus that leaves every 20 minutes from the station which is downtown or in a taxi, the price is not much and it can pick you up if you ask for this service. The Pichilingue beach has white sand and shallow waters and two or three small seafood restaurants and they also make small trips by boat.
