This is the first work of the pier and its artist is John Soiano who was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco in 1920. He arrive at Mexico City 1935 and had his first exhibition when he was only 16. He travel to Europe where he began his interest in sculpture and his monumental pieces can be  appreciated in open places, public plazas around the country and his influence on various current artists  is very important.
