To reach the Bahia de Maguey,  you can go by boat traveling west from the Bahia de Santa Cruz. To get to the bay by  land it is recommended that you rent a motorcycle or 4 wheeler to traverse the rough road that is not easily accessible by car. This beach is located to the south of the Bahia Santa Cruz about 3 km/1.86 miles along the road to Playa La Entrega.
Maguey is popular because of the tranquility of its waters. It has a length of 500 meters/546 yards and its width varies between 20 and 50 meters (21-54yrds). This beach delights with its fine sands, crystal clear tropical water and pleasant temperatures.
