La Crucecita, main square
The Crucecita, or the Little Cross, defines the garden and main square of the Bays of Huatulco.
Located opposite the church of the same name, which is famous for guarding the world’s largest painting of the Virgin of Guadalupe plastered on its roof, La Crucecita is surrounded by hotels, restaurants, bars, and shops.
It is the favorite meeting point of tourists and locals, who flock to their seats to enjoy the shade of the leafy trees while eating ice cream or sipping a refreshing fruit drink.
