The Diego Rivera Statue is on Calle Juan Valley in the heart of the city of Guanajuato.

It was unveiled on June 24, 2009 by Guadalupe Rivera Marin, the painter’s daughter, and the founding members of Amigos of the Guanajuatan muralist, just steps away from the house where the artist was born, now the Casa-Museo Diego Rivera.

The work of artisit Raul Jaramillo, this is the first full body statue of the famous painter.
