The Church of St. Augustine is a beautiful building of Plateresque style with Moorish reminiscences dating from 1609.  Its façade features two bodies over a graceful tower which holds at its corners two sculptures of the evangelists. It emphasizes the bell structure that sits on top of the slender body of the tower whose design is attributed to the architect Francisco Eduardo Tresguerras.
