In Puerto Vallarta you can enjoy a large variety of water sports and activities. For those with the most adventurous  tastes, we’ll mention sailing with dolphins (sailboats leave the Vallarta Marina before 9 am), snorkeling or scuba diving near dolphins and various sea beauties of nature, as well as water skiing, windsurfing and sports fishing . You can also surf and kayak almost anywhere in the bay.
For professional diving there are several options and instructional courses that are offered. The Marietas, Las Caletas, Corbeteña, El Morro and Arcos, all offer this service. Many hotels also offer classes in their swimming pools, so ask at your hotel. And if your taste is for something more traditional, you can also find parasailing and banana boat trips across the Banderas Bay, or simply practice swimming without problems in Vallarta.
