The Lakes of Chapultepec
The Lakes of Chapultepec
The woods of Chapultepec, which means Grasshopper Hill in Nahuatl, is distinguished not only by the variety of trees surrounding it, but also for the fame of its characteristic lakes: Mayor Lake, Menor Lake, and Chapultepec Lake. They are located within an area of 1.5 square miles and they are ideal recreation areas. On weekends, hundreds of families come out to enjoy the woodlands and admire the ducks. During the week, the atmosphere is quiet and an excellent place to exercise. Generally you can always find tourist facilities open close by such as museums, hotels, restaurants and information booths.
