Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral
Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral
The Catedral Metropolitana de Mexico is the largest church in Latin America and home to many art treasures. It was built in 1567 and completed 250 years later. In its interior is a crypt where all of the bishops are buried who have served in Mexico City. Close to the church, there is the cathedral museum and the building of The Sagrario Metropolitano whose baroque facade stuns with its quality and beauty. You can get there taking the subway and getting off at the Zocalo station.
