When it was built  was named "La Capilla del Calvario" but it  suffered a resconstrucción in 1864 and it was never  completed. It might seems a small lost temple, one more ... but it holds a good secret: a Black Christ. This image is highly revered by the locals and has many legends that were portrayed in four giant paintings by Phillippa and can be appreciated on this place.
Every three of  May is celebrated the feast of the patron and during the early days of this month Valle de Bravo is filled with the congregation  from all over Mexico.
