About the building: It was likely to have been originally part of the building now known as the Casa Cural or rectory, which was subdivided and remodeled in the late 19th century with a second floor and French style façade which was fashionable at the time. The most accurate information we have about the property and its remodeling is that in September 1906 the Central Model High School was established on its upper floor and was the property of the government.
In June 1908 the chair of Military Exercises was established and in the 40’s the Bolio family lived there. After that it was converted into the Delio Moreno Cantón elementary school for more than 60 years until 2007 when it was relocated. The 2007-2010 administration converted it into the Craft Center of Valladolid which is now home to the artisans of the city.
