Located within the facilities of METRO, the Museo de la Cultura Huasteca is a collection of exhibits that ensure continuity of the region’s identity through a large archaeological and ethnological collection. Its collection of over 3,000 pieces is a cluster of cultural expressions from the region, with pieces from the indigenous peoples attributed to the Teneek culture that developed in the states of Hidalgo, Puebla, Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, Tamaulipas and Veracruz that form the Huasteca region.
The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 5:00. The use of cameras without flash and video cameras without tripod are permitted.
