The Mercado de Artesanias de Santo Domingo, is a colorful outdoor market of indigenous crafts that surrounds the Iglesia Santo Domingo and its side chapel, the Templo de la Caridad.
Open every day, it is one of the preferred destinations of tourists, where much time can be spent getting lost wandering the stalls that are filled with creative and ancestral traditions of, multitudes of textiles, embroidery, jewelry, basketry, saddlery, jarceria, weavings and stones.
