Playa La Madera  has its name because in the time of the New Spain boats, wood was transported here. The inhabitants at that time, cut mahogany, pine and oak from the Sierra Madre and transported it to what is now a paradise for resting.  This beach measures 422.26 km and is the ideal place for a quiet afternoon because of its restaurants, a small area to swim, and a spectacular view from the hill that is located right above the beach.
