The Temple of San Agustin was a convent that, like all of its time, had a church on the site. It was built in the sixteenth century and keep a baroque style in which simple inside is an altar neoplateresque crowned by the image of San Agustin and in front of it, one of Santa Monica, his mother.

The former convent houses the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara.
