Information

Inside the park "Agua Azul" is a pyramid (similar to those found in Xochicalco) which serves as seat for the Museo de Arqueologia de Occidente de Mexico. In it you can admire a huge map of the state as well as archaeological pieces and remnants of the cultures that inhabited the region of Jalisco, Colima and Nayarit. What is most striking are the Perros de Colima besides the piece called "El Pensador" which depicts a sick man.
The museum has five rooms and opened in the late 50's.
There are workshops of Nahuatl language for young and old.
