To one side of the Plazuela de San Francisco, built in 1737, is The San Francisco Church. This square is characterized by a tower with a clock made in 1861, and for always being busy at night thanks to the food carts. There are also traces of the San Lucas Battery, built around 1782, which stands opposite the ocean near to the plaza.
