La Casa de Artesanias “Tukulná” (The House of Thought) houses exhibition halls with different kinds of the state’s natural crafts such as Tepakan pottery, woven hammocks, and hats and other items made from hippie palm.
There are also dresses, books, canned goods, wooden handicrafts, and stone works on display, not to mention the fine work that is done with bull’s horn, which because of its similar consistency, is an ideal substitute for hawksbill turtle shells, which is in danger of extinction.
