Merida’s Zocalo is the perfect place to enjoy the brightness offered by this noble city. It is a mixture of present and past, framed in by the San Ildefonso Cathedral, the Montejo House, the State Capital Building and the City Hall, creating a whole architectural feast. And nothing is better than the shade of the trees which invite you to sit and chat on one of its famous benches "for two", both on a hot day or a cool night.
