The Historic Downtown of the City of Merida is perfect for a walk at dusk. On its always clean and calm streets, you can see the light of the sunset that is reflects on the old and well-maintained colonial buildings. Merida has an abundance of centuries-old buildings that make up the main block.  It is enjoyable to admire the full architecture details and fine finishes in the neo-classical facades, ideal backdrops for the occasional photograph.
