The Interior of St.Michael the Archangel Parish
Opposite the main square in the city of San Miguel de Allende, stands the majestic symbol of the city, the Parroquia San Miguel Arcangel. The inside of the church contains oil paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries, works by the famous painter Juan Rodriguez Juarez and other renowned painters of the period, including a statue of the Christ called the Lord of the Conquest.
As a historical fact, it is worth mentioning that in the crypt below the site, General Anastasio Bustamante is buried, who was a resident in Mexico from 1830 to 1832.
