San Miguel de Allende is well worth its view during the day and night, from close-up and a far. From the lookout that rises high over the cathedral, the houses, and in the background, the Allende dam, the charming streets also offer a spectacular view. At the lookout, there is the house and monument to Pedro Vargas, a native of the city, and it is also one of the last stops on the trolley tour.
