Located in the Mexican State of Chiapas, the El Chiflón waterfalls form part of the Ecotourism Center Chain of the El Chiflón Waterfalls.

This Center has an infrastructure that is in total harmony with the forest and the turquoise waters of the San Vicente River, which flow over the natural stone steps forming little pools called spas where you can swim. The tour of this beautiful nature reserve consists of 1,268 meters of walkways surrounded by a valley of sugar cane fields, mountains and tropical forest.

The flora is rich and dense consisting of several species of orchids, bromeliads or plants of the pineapple family, and a wide variety of trees such as junipers, palomillos, sapodillas, cedars and mahoganies.

Waterfalls: The five waterfalls, starting with those located downstream, are as follows: Sigh Waterfalls, Angel Wing Waterfalls, Bridal Veil Waterfalls, a beautiful curtain of water 70 meters in height with a magnificent view is, without a doubt, the most impressive of the place; Rainbow Waterfalls and Quinceañera Waterfalls.

Services: 12 cabins for lodging, camping area, a restaurant that serves 90 diners, crafts, grocery stores and souvenirs.  Spa areas, two zip lines, and a display of the Environmental and Cultural Interpretation featuring a photographic exhibition and Audio Visual of the Flora, Fauna and History of the Region.

Going by car to the El Chiflón waterfalls?

From San Cristóbal de las Casas: Go towards Comitan de Dominguez via Villa las Rosas which is 122 kilometers and then another 24 kilometers to the town of Tzimol.

From Tuxtla Gutierrez: Drive 146 kilometers towards Comitan de Dominguez via Pujitlic and then another 21 kilometers to the town of Tzimol.
