The Garden of the Martyrs (Jardín de los Mártires) is the central garden of Ixtapan de La Sal.

It is located in the historic city center, opposite the Parish of the Assumption of Mary and the City Hall. It owes its name to the monument which pays homage to the martyrs on August 10, 1912, killed during a clash with Zapatista troops.

It has a beautiful typical kiosk where regional food are sold and with a cybernetic fountain. During the afternoon, mainly those of the weekends, families go to walk and relax in the garden, eating ice cream together while looking at some of the exquisite pieces sold in the stalls and watching the spectacle of the cybernetic fountain at the night with a show of lights and music.

It is worth mentioning that when during the last renovation of the garden in 1992, mounds, pottery objects and human remains were found and which are under the protection of the National Museum of Anthropology and History of Mexico.
