The Monumento al Padre, is a set of three bronze sculptures located in the Plaza del Carmen, a few steps from the Teatro de la Paz and the Carmen Church. Created by artists and Joel and Mario Cuevas, this work was inaugurated on June 15, 2008. It’s plaque reads:

“Only a parent possesses the necessary art of being able to inspire in their children respect, love and friendship, all at the same time.”
