The Iglesia del Cerro de Guadalupe is surrounded by a quant wooded small plaza, and consists of a single nave with a side chapel. It was built on top of the Cerro (hill) de Guadalupe in 1834.

79 steps are ascended to arrive at the top, the entrance of the church, rewarded with an unparalleled panoramic view of the city. On the main altar is located a canvas painting of the Virgin of Guadalupe in excellent condition.

In the side chapel there is a carved image of the Virgin dating from 1850.
