El Parian de Puebla is that place, also known as the Antigua Plaza de San Roque.  Here people come to admire and purchase these artistic creations (made from expert hands) that have made this city so popular. The Parian’s facilities have operated as such since 1961, with 112 sites, and a variety of objects with many different shapes and colors. What is available in this market? A little bit of everything and from everywhere in this state: Talavera pottery, textiles, leather, ceramics, pottery, wood, palm, jewelry, copper, wax dolls, confetti, blown glass, Pahuatlan Amato paper, silverware from Amozoc, sweets and souvenirs of all kinds.
