The Museum of Contemporary Art in Monterrey is a building of distinguished and beautiful  architecture on which the first thing that highlights, is a huge dove of 4 tons, creation of the visual artist Juan Soriano. This unique animal figure  welcomes visitors at the entrance to the cultural centre. The exhibitions cover topics  of very important and well-known creators  throughout the world. Regularly vary the themes of the exhibitions in order to keep updated the collection and  to offer something different. The museum offers various educational activities such as workshops, courses, guided tours, workshops for children and so on. It is open Tuesdays, Thursdays to Sundays from 10:00 to 18:00 hrs, Wednesday from 10:00 to 20:00 hrs and closed on Monday. Only on Wednesday the admission is free. It is not allowed to take photographs or video inside the exhibition.
