Who would think that at this site a Spanish ship ran aground and lost a cargo full of fine silks? Well, that is why it is called Playa la Ropa (Clothes Beach).
One of the most beautiful and calm beaches of the so-called Costa Grande is La Ropa, it is ideal for a family day or for a romantic evening for couples. The sand is soft almost like talc, the waves are calm, and the view during and evening can steal your breath away.
Kids and adults both can enjoy the shallow water, ideal for swimming, windsurfing, sailing, or a tour on the banana boat. On the edges of the beach are restaurants offering a wide variety of regional and international dishes prepared with fresh seafood.
Some luxury residences and several hotels can be seen along the edges of its almost thousand meter length.
