The Playa Larga part of Zihuatanejo Bay is, as its name indicates, long, measuring over 12 km. It is a quieter than the other beaches, since it is virtually unexplored. There are few restaurants, few people, and the open sea.
It is a perfect site if what you are looking for is horseback riding, or playing on the shore of the ocean with fewer people around you And it is a  great place for four-wheelers because of being flat and wide.
