All day.

Along the Oaxaca coast bathed by the waves of the sea, one gets a glimpse of a  window  that the rocks have formed through the years. This creation of nature inspired the name of this little community, La Ventanilla.  This town is composed of several families all committed to working to maintain the life of the mangrove and conserve its bio-diversity. In the mangrove different species of birds and reptiles live:  woodpeckers, kingfishers, ducks and a huge variety of herons, alligators and iguanas, many of the species endangered. This area offers a variety of services and eco-tourist activities.  Tour the lake by canoe, visit the crocodile farm, go horseback riding along the beach, visit the nursery on the island with deer, and take a stroll at night to see the turtles spawning or to set them free.
The community offers: Hostels, ecological bathrooms, a community restaurant and the sale of recycled paper.
