The Bay of Rincon de Guayabitos was discovered by the Spanish who were in search of a port closer to the evangelization of the Californias and the exploration of the Islas Marias.

They found this beautiful beach with its crystal clear calm waters, making this place a point of departure for the coast of Chacala, Nayarit, the Bay of Banderas, and Matanchén.

It was not until 1970 that this corner of beach became known to tourists and began to emerge as a tourist destination.

Today it is a quiet place that offers visitors beautiful scenery, a relaxed family atmosphere and a wide variety of attractions and activities to ensure maximum fun.
