AttractionNuñez PlazaColima

The Jardin Nuñez was some time ago known as the Plaza Nueva or Alameda. It was built by the order of the second governor of the state General Jose Silverio Nuñez  in 1858. The square was the witness of countless festivals, serenades, and regional fairs, where the orchestra Lira Colimense livened up the plaza every afternoon for all the visitors who came.  Each year in December, during the festivals in honor to the Virgen of Guadalupe, a colorful fair is held that offers delicious regional food from 6:00 pm until midnight, creating a tradition to go and enjoy a great dinner.  In 2008, the Jardin Nuñez was enhanced with 24 installations accommodating up to 40 people with free wireless internet connection.
