Located next to the Temple of San Francisco in the historic center of the City of Celaya, the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is an architectural work of the nineteenth century. The rectangular structure consists of three naves or the widest part of the church where people sit. The aisles support five beautiful altarpieces while the main nave altar is dedicated to St. Margaret, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Holy Trinity and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, among others. The orange façade has two towers: a bell and clock tower.
