Natural WondersThe Beaches of CancunCancún

The coastline of Cancun has many natural attractions, among which, its beaches are undoubtedly the most prominent attraction. White sands, and calm waves, this paradise offers an impressive view of the Caribbean Sea with its beautiful turquoise blue. Although many of the hotels reserve use of the shoreline,  public access is easily available  for all of the beaches for those visitors not staying inside the zone. One of the best options is to attend a beach club where service includes lounge chair rentals, and bars and restaurants that are open to the public. The most popular beaches in Cancun are: Playa Langosta, Playa Tortugas. Playa Chac-Mool, Playa Marlin, Whale Beach, Dolphin Beach, Playa Gaviota Azul, San Miguelito, Lu’um Yamil, Playa Las Perlas, Playa Linda and Playa Caracol. For added security all of the beaches have signs in the form of flags that indicate by its color the intensity of the sea: red flag- no swimming, yellow flag- caution especially with children and the elderly; green flag- swimming safe for everyone ; blue flag- indicates that the beach and their services stand out for their quality.
