The beaches of Cancun are ideal for suntanning and enjoying the beauty of the turquoise sea and white sand.  The intensity of the waves vary according to the time of year and for your safety, the hotel and marina beaches have colored flags that warn of wave conditions. Be sure to use sun screen, but make sure it’s biodegradable to avoid polluting the waters, so that all future visitors can enjoy this pristine paradise as you found it.   And always wear a life jacket while doing water sports or other nautical activities. Mexican law prohibits the following practices; touching the animals or coral reefs, collecting rocks,  seashells or any natural object in the water or on the beach. Those who violate these laws may be prosecuted.
